Graduate From The Secret…To The Law Of Success
Fast-forward to today. What a difference! Thanks to the brilliant marketing of The Secret DVD and book, the Law of Attraction seems to be on everyone’s lips. The swell of publicity from word-of-mouth is astounding. Not to mention Oprah, Ellen and Larry!
Working in a library, I get to see first-hand this incredible phenomenon. We have patrons who come into the library just to use our online services. They never check out a book. Many don’t even like to read.
Imagine my shock when a young man who once declared he wouldn’t be caught dead reading a book, asked me if we had “The Secret”! I could only sputter, “It’s on order.”
Finally! All ages are learning the importance of our “thoughts” and how they affect our lives. Can Utopia be far off? I mean, if we are all practicing The Secret, just imagine…Poverty declines. Crime statistics will fall off the graph. There will be less divorce. Happier families. More loving relationships. Can you feel it? No, I’m not making fun of The Secret. Far from it. There can’t be success unless we “think right”. So, work on keeping control of your thought process. But, there is something else we have to do to create a prosperous life. We have to take action. Until we do, nothing happens! That my friends, is the law!
Those gifted teachers on The Secret movie didn’t just sit and think. After “thinking right”, they moved. There was action. Products were created. Jobs were accomplished. Wealth was achieved.
And their good fortune was not an overnight sensation. Thoughts become things…with work. Setting goals. Following through. Keeping tabs on our thoughts during times of frustration. Times we don’t know how we will ever go on another day. When our dream of the good life seems out of reach.
To live your dream is about riches. The richness of good health. Loving relationships with your family and friends. Work you enjoy doing. The excitement of learning new things. Striving to be the absolute best person you can become. Being spiritual. That’s abundance.
It takes work. But, you’re worth it!
